# Venues

Taco Venues are the main aggregation centres and interfaces to the [Taco Universe](https://whitepaper.tacostudios.io/gaming/taco-universe). They are upgradable and customizable NFTs which are able to produce different perks in the different fields: 

* **Resources management:** passively earn tokens
* **Community building:** unlock Taco games, assign Rooms
* **Swag:** rename Venue, change NFT shape, earn Skins
* **Governance decisions:** earn Governance Tokens, vote

### **Venues Types & Rarity**

There are 6 different Venue rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic. The number of minted Venue NFTs decreases as rarity increases.

Higher rarity Venues provide more passive SHING to holders and are also able to create inherently rarer Ingredients which can be converted for a higher amount of TACO and split into larger Ta-cores.

Every Venue has a **type** directly linked to one or more Ingredients NFTs. This determines the Ingredient NFTs a Venue is able to craft by burning SHING tokens within it.

### **Buying Venue**

Venues are available either from [Venue Packs](https://app.tacocrypto.io/marketplace?symbol=WAX\&page=1\&schema_name=pack\&match=ven) or [individually](https://app.tacocrypto.io/marketplace?symbol=WAX\&page=1\&schema_name=venue) on the Secondary Marketplace.

There are 3 different Venue packs available, here are the contents and opening percentages:

* **Small Pack -** Contains 1 Venue
* **Big Pack -** Contains 2 Venues
* **Whale Pack -** Contains 3 Venues
